Author Biography
Sang Miao is an illustrator who studied at the University of Brighton in the UK. Her first book for children was Out, Out, Away From Here, published by Flying Eye. She currently lives and works in Jiangsu Province in China.
Lucy Brownridge is an award-winning children's book author and editor from London, UK. She studied History of Art at the University of Bristol and holds an MA from the Courtauld Institute of Art. Lucy writes thoughtful, engaging books that spark curiosity about the world and celebrate connection, cooperation, and care for others. Her titles include Little Tree and the Wood Wide Web, winner of the 2024 Giverny Award, What Are You Doing Today, Mother Nature?, The Fantastical Safari, and the Cat Family series, which has been translated into 19 languages.
