by Charles P. Hooton (Author)
The question asked in this book's title is a two-edged sword. This book is an attempt to address the attitude that God has no right to meddle in one's personal affairs. The reality of our human condition is that many do question his authority and even his existence. God declares his existence and defends his sovereignty. The other side of the question provides answers and insights into God for the believer who desires to know Him more intimately. "Just Who Does God Think He Is?" is a non-threatening and lively theology of God. It provides the reader with a theology that is well researched, thought out, engaging, and applicable to twenty first century life. This is accomplished through a fairly comprehensive examination of God's own self-revelatory statements. The author has in view the person in the pew who wants a little more. The new believer will find this book a good source to answer his question, "Just who does God think He is." This book is perfect for the more serious bible student who wants to pursue his/her relationship with, and knowledge of, God. Pastors will find the outline very adaptable to developing sermons and bible studies on the subject. This book will also lend itself very well to small group bible studies. Charles P. Hooton has been a pastor for over thirty years. He is also a Bible teacher, husband, father and grandfather.
