Despite her fear of dogs, seventeen-year-old Kat takes a job at her aunt's pet store.

When Hiro asks Kat to look after his corgi, Pickle, Kat questions whether she can fall for dogs as hard as she's fallen for Hiro. Will she own up to her lie or finally overcome her fear?

Author Biography
Jocelyn Shipley is an award-winning writer who has written several books for teens, including Stranded, Raw Talent, Impossible and Shatterproof. A graduate of York University, Jocelyn has studied writing at St. Lawrence College and the Humber School for Writers. She lives in Toronto and on Vancouver Island.
