When a small sailor is swamped at sea, a kind dragon named Kindred comes to the rescue. The sage sea creature helps the shipwrecked child navigate stormy emotions. Seeing Sailor's distress, she asks "What's going on?" and offers ways for Sailor to express and soothe upsets.
With Kindred swimming alongside, Sailor recognizes and releases the raging feelings. The emotions move on. And so does Sailor, through troubled times to discover Kindred's treasure.
