Author Biography
María López Villarquide (A Coruña, 1982) es doctora en Documentación y Análisis Cinematográfico y licenciada en Teoría de la Literatura y Literatura Comparada. Dejó el conservatorio a los veintiún años, después de más de una década dedicada al ballet clásico. Ha desempeñado diferentes trabajos como documentalista en proyectos editoriales, de cine y de arte contemporáneo, y ha escrito dos novelas (La catedrática, Espasa, 2018, y La juglaresa, Espasa, 2021).
En 2015 obtuvo una beca Marie Curie ITN, y en 2022, la subvención para escritores del Ministerio de Cultura y Deportes, con la que se fue dos meses a Francia con el objetivo de documentarse para su última obra: La danza de París.
