Olivia Ford creció en Lincolnshire, aunque vive en Londres y ha trabajado más de una década en la televisión, incluyendo programas como Made in Chelsea y Love Island. Se graduó en la Academia Faber, donde escribió los inicios de La receta secreta de la señora Quinn, título preseleccionado para el Premio de Descubrimientos del Women's Prize Trust 2021.
