Iago del Castillo es un carism?tico y atractivo longevo de 10.300 a?os de edad con un cerebro prodigioso. Iago del Castillo is a charismatic and attractive long-lived man of 10,300 years with a prodigious brain. However, one morning he wakes up in San Francisco, far from his home in Santander, unable to remember his name or the details of the mysterious investigation that brought him there; an investigation aimed at deciphering the reasons why neither he nor the other members of his family age.
But neither Iago nor H?ctor, his father, intend to share the results; they are aware of the risks and suffering their way of life entails. It is his siblings Jairo (a troubled Scythian of nearly 3000 years) and Kyra (an elusive Celt of 2500 years) who, tired of walking alone through the centuries and weary of burying their children, are determined to create a lineage of long-lived like them.
Meanwhile, Adriana, a prehistoric archaeologist, is ready to take advantage of fate bringing her back to her native Santander to clarify the strange suicide of her mother fifteen years ago. From the beginning, Iago and Adriana will feel a powerful attraction to each other, although both will try to ignore it.
