Author Biography
Andrew Clements (1949-2019) was the author of the enormously popular Frindle. More than 10 million copies of his books have been sold, and he was nominated for a multitude of state awards, including a Christopher Award and an Edgar Award. Salvatore Murdocca has illustrated more than 200 children's trade and textbooks. He is also a librettist for children's opera, a video artist, an avid runner, hiker, bicyclist, and a teacher of children's illustration at the Parsons School of Design. Sal lives and works in New York with his wife, Nancy.
