Additional information
by Gabriela Knutson (Author)
A chair devours the diminutive boss during a job interview. Linda loses a finger over a stray pinch at a party. A turtle is leery of his neighbor the oyster. Gabriela Knutson's "Legumes" is a collection of offbeat short stories born out of the desire to butcher the English language and deprive it of any sense. Finding humor and beauty in somewhat dark spaces, "Legumes" is an absurd look at the noise that fills the quiet moments of everyday life. Illustrations by Diana Kohne Kenny.
