This book is an introduction to the poetic books of the Bible. It presents a brief synoptic study of Job, Ecclesiastics and Song of Songs, with analysis and notes for each Psalm. The author is interested in exploring the big questions. Why are Ecclesiastics and Song of Songs included in the Bible? The author of Ecclesiastics does not believe in immortality. Song of Songs is highly erotic and doesn't mention the name of God. There are Psalms that are characterized by revenge, which is contrary to the nature of the New Testament. What is the divine message of these writings?
Author Biography
Pablo Hoff, a missionary with the Assemblies of God, has served as a missionary in Latin America for more than thirty-four years. His teaching ministry was previously practiced in Bolivia and Argentina. He currently resides in Chile and supervises the Pentecostal Bible Institute in the city of Santiago. He is the author of several textbooks currently used at Bible institutes and seminaries in Latin America.
