An old, abandoned house has stood quiet for fifty years. But it has never been completely empty.
Little Sheet is a curious, playful, and lonely little ghost who has spent years floating through the dusty rooms of an aging Victorian house. There is just one small problem: Little Sheet does not know he is a ghost.
When a group of neighborhood children chooses the house for their Halloween party, Little Sheet can hardly believe his eyes. After decades without visitors, his home is suddenly filled with costumes, decorations, laughter, and the promise of adventure. He wants more than anything to join the fun, even if the children cannot see him.
Little Sheet soon discovers that being invisible does not mean he cannot help with the party. Decorations begin to move. Mysterious sounds echo through the rooms. Strange things happen when no one is looking. As the children search for an explanation, their Halloween celebration becomes a playful paranormal investigation, and Little Sheet begins an unexpected journey toward discovering who he really is.
Will the children uncover the house's friendly ghost? And will Little Sheet finally realize that being different does not mean being alone?
Filled with gentle spookiness, humor, mystery, and heart, Little Sheet and the Halloween Party is an illustrated Halloween picture book about curiosity, belonging, friendship, and self-discovery. It offers young readers the fun of a haunted-house adventure without frightening imagery or a scary ending.
