I was rapidly approaching 40 and was still unsure what I wanted to be when I grew up, but I knew I wanted to be more. This 10 step process was my successful attempt to finally find out my WHY. Based on 30 days of Drive, the sixth activity in My Year of TED (a year-long self-development project based around popular TED Talks), it was one of the project's defining moments.
This book will lead you through the process I developed to successfully find out my WHY and how I could contribute to the world in a way that was better aligned with my values and beliefs. Based around concepts from TED Talks by Simon Sinek and Tony Robbins, the book will run you through a simplified process to identify problematic blueprints; your core values; what you need from your environment; your purpose, belief and cause; then finally, your Why, How and What.
The book includes a number of activities and prompts, designed to help you explore what a fulfilling life looks like for you, and how you might achieve it. You will also have access to a resource page with links, videos and a downloadable workbook -- in case you don't want to write in this book itself.
