En el campo de Kara Tepe, en la isla de Lesbos, conviven miles de refugiados de todo el mundo a la espera de obtener los permisos que les permitan empezar una nueva vida en algún país de Europa. Muchos de los chicos y chicas sufren graves enfermedades mentales debido a la terrible situación en la que viven: les ha costado mucho llegar, el día a día en el campo es difícil y no saben cuál será su futuro. Aunque reciben ayuda y asistencia de profesionales y voluntarios, la vida en Lesbos puede ser un infierno. Pero en Lesbos también se explican cuentos, cuentos que curan, cuentos que salvan. Cuentos fantásticos que representan los miedos, los deseos y las esperanzas de de todos aquellos que se ven obligadas a pasar unos años de su vida lejos de casa, en tierra de nadie, siempre a punto para huir.
In the camp Kara Tepe, on the island of Lesbos, thousands of refugees from all over the world are hoping to obtain documents to begin a new life in a European country. Many children suffer from grave mental illnesses as a result of the terrible situation that they live in: it has cost them everything to arrive at the camp, day to day on the camp is difficult, and they don't know what the future will bring. Even though they have received help and assistance from professionals and volunteers, life in Lesbos can be hell. But, in Lesbos, there are stories, stories that cure, stories that save. Amazing stories that represent the fears, the hopes, and the dreams of all who have to spend years of their lives far from home, in a land of nothing, always ready to flee.Author Biography
Escribe desde muy jovencito. De la misma manera que le apasiona escribir e inventarse historias, también le gusta pintar y por eso ha hecho la carrera de Bellas Artes. Ha estudiado en Berlín y ha hecho algunas exposiciones. Ahora, en cambio, quiere vivir de la literatura. Jugar con las palabras, decidir cómo explicará aquello que quiere explicar. No sabe si se puede llamar estilo, pero le gusta pasar desapercibido entre las líneas, expresarlo todo de una manera natural, sin que se vea apenas la mano del escritor.
Angel Burgas has been writing since he was very young. In the same way that he is passionate about writing and inventing stories, he also likes to paint, so he studied fine arts. He studied in Berlin and has done some exhibitions. Now, however, he wants to make a living from literature. Playing with words and deciding how to explain things that he wants to explain. He doesn't know what to call his style, but he likes to go unnoticed between the lines, expressing everything in a natural way, so the writer's hand is barely visible.
