Oslo, 1942. Carl, Olav, and Roar grew up together in the same apartment building in the east of the city. They are barely entering puberty, but their lives are far from games and mischief. In a country occupied by the German army, they must find creative ways every day to help their families in the resistance and avoid becoming the next victims of barbarism. However, the absence of a constant father figure drives them to a kind of recklessness. Alongside neighbors and friends, they form a gang through which they scam, forge documents, and steal to survive. And they do not hesitate to eliminate the enemy when necessary...
