Author Biography
Ofosu Jones-Quartey (Born I) is a meditation teacher, author, and musician dedicated to sharing mindfulness, hip-hop, and self-compassion--his live events are a hip-hop and meditation experience. Ofosu leads meditation classes and retreats nationwide, having taught and led retreats at the Insight Meditation Community of Washington, The Insight Meditation Society, Spirit Rock, Brooklyn Zen Center, Cleveland Insight, and Inward Bound Mindfulness, among others. Ofosu has also worked with schools and has co-written a mindfulness-based suicide prevention curriculum for teenagers as well as the children's books You Are Enough and Love Your Joyful Self.
