Celebrate Mabon with this complete guide to the second harvest festival. Discover magical traditions, seasonal rituals, age-old spells, and time-honoured folk customs that honour the Autumn Equinox and the turning of the Wheel of the Year.
Marking the second harvest of the year at the Autumn Equinox, Mabon is a sacred Sabbat celebrating balance, gratitude, and the fruits of the Earth. As day and night stand equal and the light begins to wane, this thanksgiving festival invites reflection on the abundance of the season and a gentle turning towards the dark half of the year.
Drawing on the work of vintage scholars and folklorists from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries and earlier, this carefully gathered collection brings together the essential traditions, lore, and Pagan wisdom surrounding Mabon in one authentic, grounding volume.
Wyrd Books has gathered the lore of Mabon into a single, beautifully presented and illustrated edition - a volume meant to be worked from as much as treasured. Within these pages, readers will find harvest rituals, seasonal charms, Autumnal recipes, and magical folktales, drawn together for the modern practitioner. An essential companion for all who walk the old paths and follow the turning of the Wheel of the Year, it invites the reader to bring the magic of Mabon into their own home and practice.
