It is possible that their participation in the horrendous event was due to ignorance and lack of consciousness regarding the message of the Prophet. This Marsiyah recounts the story of the event. He has taught and spoken at Institutions of Higher Education in North America, Europe, and Asia. As a faculty member, he taught in Educational Leadership and Teacher Education programs. His primary specialization is in areas of diversity and cultural competency. Through the decades, Aziz has mentored many students in diverse fields including Education and Religious Studies.
