Jewish activist Ben Komorosky narrowly escapes 1933 Nazi Germany for his role in fomenting a worldwide protest and boycott of German goods. Working with British military intelligence, Ben uses a mail drop in London to cover his tracks. After his two brothers are taken to a concentration camp in 1938, Ben infiltrates an ultra-secret assassination network based in New York City, hoping to utilize its multi-national resources to rescue his brothers while also gathering information about the network for his British military intelligence handlers. As the world collapses into war, Ben learns that his saboteur operation is connected to powerful Wall Street interests profiting from Hitler's war machine - the same interests who tipped off the Reich about his clandestine activities inside Nazi Germany. This fictional story is based on real, but little-known events that shaped WWII and its aftermath.
Author Biography
Conrad John is an independent filmmaker living in Los Angeles. He trained as a screenwriter at Writer's Bootcamp and its invitation-only Think Tank. He has written eleven screenplays, three of which were made into films, two shorts and one feature film, and a fourth was optioned. Masters of War started as a screenplay. The historical setting of this fictional story is meticulously researched, pulling together for the first time little known facts that had been buried in secret intelligence files or on the back pages of newspapers for many years.
