Meditaciones recoge las reflexiones que escribió al final de su vida el emperador romano Marco Aurelio, gran filósofo estoico. Marco Aurelio Antonino Augusto fue un gobernante intelectual y famoso por su sabiduría tanto en tiempos de paz como durante la guerra. Esta obra, compuesta de doce partes, fue escrita en el siglo II d.C. Marcus Aurelius Antoninus Augustus was an intellectual ruler and famous for his wisdom both in times of peace and during war. This work, composed of twelve parts, was written in the 2nd century AD. Marcus Aurelius wrote these reflections as a diary-like reminder to himself to remain calm and collected, even in adverse situations. Reflecting on the everyday problems that anyone can face in life: whether it be difficult co-workers, family arguments or goals that seem too far away. It deals, in short, with how to achieve happiness. The Meditations of the great Roman emperor-philosopher are simple yet profound works of Stoic philosophy that, to this day, continue to offer many guidance and comfort with their eloquence, wisdom and humility.
