Ask any man how he's doing. He'll tell you he's fine.
He'll talk about work, sports, the kids, the weather. He'll crack a joke about the hard stuff and move on. And underneath it all, he's carrying things he's never said out loud to anyone.
That silence has a cost. Men are paying it in our marriages, our friendships, our bodies, and our sense of self. Mens Anonymous isn't a book about how to be a better man. There's no program, no five steps, no guru on a mountaintop. It's a collection of real stories from real men-guys who drank to take the edge off, who buried themselves in work, who couldn't talk to their fathers, who damaged their relationships and hurt themselves. Men who held it together for years, until they couldn't.
These stories are more alike than you'd expect. Different men, different details, but the same pattern: years of silence, of feeling alone with the weight, and then one honest conversation shifts something.
Daniel Weinberg isn't here to tell you what to do with any of it. He's just opened the door and let them speak. What you do with it is up to you.
