A.I. Newton es el seudónimo de Michael Teitelbaum, quien ha escrito numerosos libros para niños. El siempre quiso viajar al espacio, visitar otros planetas y conocer a un alienígena. Como eso no funcionó, se decidió por la siguiente mejor opción: ¡escribir historias sobre alienígenas!
