A charming children's picture book about a little monkey who has to do his chores, find the missing remote, and learn that asking for help is the smartest thing you can do. For ages 2-6.
Saturday is Mikey the Purple Monkey's favorite day of the week because it means one thing: the Banana Bananza!
But first -- chores.
With the clock ticking down, Mikey races to make his bed, brush his teeth, and wash his face. Then it's time to watch his show... except the remote has vanished!
Under the couch? Behind the lamp? Nowhere!
With only moments left, Mikey remembers something wise his dad once said: it's okay to ask for help.
Will Mikey find the missing remote before the show begins?
Filled with playful repetition, cheerful suspense, and laugh-out-loud fun, this interactive picture book teaches children that responsibility and teamwork go hand in hand.
This book helps children:
- Learn that it's okay to ask for help
- Understand that chores come before play
- Practice problem-solving with patience
- See family teamwork and encouragement in action
Perfect for bedtime, classroom read-alouds, and family story time. A sweet, funny adventure for any child who has ever lost the remote, avoided their chores, or needed a little encouragement to ask for help. Full-color illustrations throughout.
