Technology has evolved and become a willing suitor to science as a new vacation program is unleashed upon the world which enables participants to experience alternative lifestyles and bodies for a short space of time. The vacation package on offer to holiday makers called Mindplant, allows vacationers to live vicariously through the eyes and formed presence of another as their bodies are stored and hidden away from the world inside a Body Preservation Dormitory within the Mindplant Headquarters for a very reasonable and affordable price. Due to the complex simulations of the Mindplant world, which promise to entertain you and provide you with your heart's desires as you engage in your fantasy vacation, two strangers lives rapidly become intertwined as they sign up and then participate in the actual vacation program on the very same day. Unfortunately, they quickly discover as they begin to explore the various attractions inside Mindplant that the promise of adventures without any limits or any negative real life consequences are not as innocent as they seem as they are pitted against themselves and each other. Startling revelations are quickly unraveled as the two delve deeper into the mysteries of the Mindplant world and they suddenly begin to realize that their minds are trapped not only inside their vacations but also inside the simulated bodies and Mindplant world that they have actually paid to participate in. The pleasures of the Mindplant program rapidly become horrors as their own participation becomes a noose tied very tightly around their necks and they are hunted down relentlessly by a vicious control program named Visual, transformative killers called Exterminators and robotic machine spies known as Watchers. A dream vacation then suddenly becomes a complete nightmare as the vacationers have to quickly find a way to escape from not only their Mindplant vacations but also Barbelo the human founder and pending death. A dream vacation or a horror filled nightmare....The Glitches Series explores the possible facilitation of technology and things that can potentially go wrong when technology behaves in unexpected manner due to Glitches, it also includes an underlying exploration of how human beings control and interact with that technology when 'the end justifies the means' approach is applied to technological developments and their implementation and examines how that can result in both negative and positive outcomes.
