Denise Gallagher is a passionate and creative author and illustrator. She is inspired by rare animals, ancient myths and folklore, and her lush and green Louisiana home. Her illustrations provide glimpses of a grand and sprawling story. Her words carry readers through enchanted landscapes infused with mystery and magic. Recurring characters may find themselves in curious situations, tied with bits of string or peeking from the edge of a dark forest. Seemingly random objects often become deeply meaningful or bewitched.
