More Than Church Hurt is an account of surviving spiritual abuse. The authoress shares her personal journey of being a member of a spiritually abusive church and how she overcame that abuse with God. In seeking wise and fruitful counsel and writing this book, she was able to start her purposed ministry: helping wounded hearts. Tiffany details spiritual abuse within the context of organized religion and shares specific examples of following in fear, harassment, manipulation, and bullying. She invites the reader to understand her anxious personal journey of growth through self, others, and the divine God. Joyfully she moves into witnessing her process of healing, acceptance, and forgiveness. She found a way to channel her energy and empathy into helping others who have been wounded by experiences within their faith communities. The book's ending devotions include her encouragement of shifting your mindset to believe and act in faith through God's Word. This transformation from personal struggle to purposeful ministry underscores the power of turning one's pain into a source of healing and support for others. Tiffany Scales, a North Carolina native, earned her undergraduate degree from East Carolina University and her graduate degree from Liberty University. With a career spanning 10+ years in corporate America, Tiffany is elated to begin her journey as an authoress. She released Yoga Joy in January of 2024. While always having a passion for reading and writing, Tiffany never anticipated penning her own testimony in book format. Driven by her servant's heart, this book becomes a manifestation of her dedication to helping God's people. Beyond her literary pursuits, Tiffany enjoys the outdoors and traveling during her downtime.
