Author Biography
Sophie McCartney, the force behind the internet phenomenon, Tired & Tested, is a writer and comedian from Liverpool.
Her first book, TIRED & TESTED: The Wild Ride into Parenthood, was a Sunday Times bestseller, lifting the lid on the messier side of life, parenting and adulthood, with the same frank, funny and fearless approach as Sophie's sketches, songs and stand-up.
Before turning to comedy, Sophie worked in PR and considers promoting the world's biggest fish finger as a career highlight. Winner of a Funny Women award in 2020, she now shares her no-holds-barred take on life with a legion of fans online, on stage and on screen.
