Author Biography
Northwest Poet and storyteller, Gary V. Anderson has been the moderator for the spoken word events at Finnish American Folk Festivals in Naselle, Washington and FinnFest USA in Astoria, Oregon. He writes about growing up Finn, man's relationship with the natural environment and the ironies when looking back over more than 60 years. Although he has been a lifelong resident of the Pacific Northwest, much of his inspiration comes from The Upper Peninsula of Michigan where he lived for ten years
