Kai Huang and Ai Yu had a long history together, meeting each other as teenagers, before they parted ways, only to be reunited many years later as grown adults. Their bond started with a shared passion of playing the piano, but due to circumstances out of their control, they had to part ways. Now, Kai is left with the scars of her past, while Ai simply wants to keep moving forward. Their reunion happened due to lucky circumstances, but the bond they shared was never severed. Except, Kai is deeply obsessed with Ai, but was never able to confess her feelings. Over time, Kai learns how deep her feelings go, while Ai continues to go through her own struggles.
