Are you tired of hiding behind "fig leaves"?
We all know how to build armor. We piece together a clever mind, a brave face, or a hardened heart just to survive the harsh wilderness of life. Much like the characters on the Yellow Brick Road, we often wander through the thickets searching for what we feel we lack: the intellect of the Scarecrow, the heart of the Tin Man, or the courage of the Lion.
However, the wilderness was never meant to be your permanent residence, and the masks you wore to survive may be the very things keeping you captive.
In my new memoir, The Return to the Garden of Eden, I invite you to step out of the shadows of isolation and into a space of radical authenticity. Blending Womanist theology, biblical allegory, and symbolic storytelling, this book explores a journey through childhood trauma, religious rejection, and spiritual awakening. It serves as a roadmap for anyone who has ever felt lost, exposed, or disconnected from their true self.
Inside these pages, you will discover how to:
- Strip away the "fig leaves" of shame, perfectionism, and fear.
- Navigate life's transitions without losing your core identity.
- Reclaim your heart, mind, and courage by embracing your authentic self.
- Walk unashamed into a restored relationship with yourself and the Divine.
The journey back to The Garden of Eden isn't about becoming someone new-it is about having the courage to uncover who you have been all along. Before we were told to cover our shame, our bodies, and our authentic selves, we were naked and unashamed. Walk with me as we find our way back Home.
