Brooklyn White is currently the Program Director for the American Parkinson Disease Association's (APDA) Alabama Information and Referral Center at the University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB) Movement Disorders Center. In that role, she provides guidance and educational resources to the Parkinson's Community for the State of Alabama. She has also helped to build and teach various Parkinson's education programs, frequently speaks at Parkinson's Support Groups, and currently facilitates two virtual support groups - one for those living with Parkinson's, and one for Care Partners in Alabama.
Brooklyn shares her family's personal PD journey and testimonies from her grandmother and father who both lived with Parkinson's for many years. Through their faith, inspiration and resilience, they greatly impacted Brooklyn's faith and inspired her to serve the Parkinson's Community.
