Neuropsychological Rorschach Assessment examines both the current literature addressing how the Rorschach can be applied as a method of neuropsychological assessment and case studies looking at the Rorschach performance of neuropsychologically impaired individuals.
This book is the first comprehensive resource to trace and integrate neuropsychological research with the Rorschach--from the early insights of Hermann Rorschach and Zygmunt Piotrowski to modern, evidence-based systems such as the Comprehensive System (CS) and the Rorschach Performance Assessment System (R-PAS). It is unique in synthesizing findings on the Rorschach's correlations with cognitive functioning, its applications in assessing neurocognitive and neurodevelopmental disorders, and its emerging role in neuroimaging research. Clinical case studies demonstrate the Rorschach's application in early-onset Alzheimer's dementia, ADHD, personality disorders, traumatic brain injury (TBI), autism spectrum disorder, alcohol dependence, and psychotic depression.
Featuring invaluable practical guidelines and rich clinical cases, this book equips psychologists, neuropsychologists, and students to use the Rorschach from a neuropsychological perspective, expanding the scope of Rorschach and multimethod assessment.
