His uncle Cornelis Antonissen Van Slyke had settled in New Netherland in 1634. This book follows Willem Pieterse and his descendants down 5 generations. It is fully sourced with footnotes. It also reveals for the first time, the origins of Willem and his uncle Cornelis in Breuckelen in the Netherlands.
