Pocos como Julio Scherer Ibarra han conocido de manera tan profunda al verdadero Andrés Manuel López Obrador. Few have known Andrés Manuel López Obrador as profoundly as Julio Scherer Ibarra. For more than three decades, he closely accompanied his aspirations to transform politics and public life in Mexico. In doing so, he witnessed firsthand his personal and family side, as well as the political, institutional, and personal framework that shaped his trajectory until, on his third attempt, he reached the presidency of the country.
Through an intimate and reflective conversation with journalist Jorge Fernández Menéndez, the story of that bond forged in struggle is recorded.
