Author Biography
Julia Donaldson, the 2011-2013 Children's Laureate, is the author of many of the world's best-loved picture books. Among her acclaimed titles are The Gruffalo, What the Ladybird Heard, Stick Man, Zog, The Smeds and the Smoos, The Scarecrows' Wedding and Night Monkey, Day Monkey. Her books have sold over 17 million copies and been translated into 75 languages.
Lucy Richards has illustrated books by Michael Morpurgo and Julia Donaldson, as well as writing and illustrating her own book The Magic Sky.
