Ali Land, después de graduarse de la universidad con una licenciatura enfocada en salud mental, pasó una década trabajando como enfermera psiquiátrica para niños y adolescentes en hospitales y escuelas de Reino Unido y Australia. Actualmente es escritora de tiempo completo y vive en Londres. Niña buena, niña mala es su primera novela.
