The intent is to honestly, and sometimes with raw expression, describe two things. The first is to describe what church planters do. The second is to describe what happens in a church planter's heart.
This book is intended to prepare and encourage those who will plant churches. My prayer for you is that this story, in some measure, will inspire you to continue, that it will strengthen your commitment to your calling, and that you will willingly identify with this story that can also be yours.
It is also intended for those interested in learning of the experiences of those that plant churches. This story, filled with determination, fulfillment and spiritual bravery, will amaze you. Your admiration for those who have persevered in their pursuit will most certainly grow.
