Nora's world is about to turn upside down.
Her new lover has secrets. She suspects the worst. Why does he carry a switchblade?
Is he the notorious Midnight Rambler, creeping into women's bedrooms at night, terrorizing Boston?
Why does she keep going back to him?
A career bartender, Nora surrounds herself with bodacious characters: Kate, the luscious redhead, who quickly becomes a tour de force; Lesley, the tough-as-nails lesbian, who suspects something is wrong; and what about the old man in the hat, whispering dark phrases directly into her mind? Is she cursed?
Nora Murphy becomes trapped in her very own paradox - yes, she gets her innermost desires - but she learns the hard way: Be careful what you wish for, you just might get it.
Nora's Curse is a fast-moving thriller, drenched in dark humor, frequented by musicians, thieves, the priest, and lest we forget: the Devil.
