Her successful career as a designer has garnered her multiple awards and honors, including being named, several years running, by House Beautiful as one of the 100 Best Designers in the US. In Notes from a Decorator's Life, Libby shares the secrets of her design, including incorporating color and pattern, upholstery, the art of imperfection, collaboration, and sustainability. A protégé of famed decorator Sister Parish, Libby Cameron's love of color and easy but elegant style is widely admired. She is sought out by discerning and selective clients since she opened her own firm in 1995 after fifteen years at Parish-Hadley. Her many projects include homes in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Maine, Washington, D.C., Virginia, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Texas, Missouri, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, California, the Bahamas, and London.
