Shawn Syms is an author and journalist who has written on culture, politics and sexuality for more than fifty publications over the past twenty-five years, including The Globe and Mail, The National Post, the LGBT biweekly Xtra, and the acclaimed anthologies First Person Queer and Love, Christopher Street: Reflections of New York. An Honours graduate of the Creative Writing program at the University of Toronto's School of Continuing Studies, he is also the editor of the anthology Friend. Follow.
