Melody Lockhart is an English author of children's fantasy. She has a vibrant imagination and an irrepressible sense of humour, and her stories for young readers are known for their smart and relatable female leads. Melody's popular Magical Rescue Vets series tells the story of two best friends who stumble across a magical forest packed with strange creatures. Her follow-up series, Oakleaf Academy, is about big adventures at a tiny boarding school-which is to say, an academy for fairies!
Roberta Tedeschi is an illustrator and comic artist who has illustrated books and magazines for various Italian series such as Geronimo Stilton, Fairy Oak and Winx Club and an English exercises book for holidays.
