Sophocles' Oedipus Tyrannus, Electra, and Antigone (1897) is a collection of three plays by the ancient Greek playwright Sophocles. The first play, Oedipus Tyrannus, tells the story of the king of Thebes, who unknowingly kills his father and marries his mother, only to discover the truth and blind himself in horror. The second play, Electra, follows the titular character as she seeks revenge against her mother and stepfather for the murder of her father.
