All of these tales were shared with the children in the congregation of author Rabbi Daniel Roberts throughout his 35-year career at Temple Emanu El in Cleveland, Ohio. Every story contains a life lesson intended to evoke discussion. Throughout the stories the reader follows a small community and royal family as they are challenged with life lessons and counseled by their Rabbi. Through humor and storytelling this collection is a wonderful reminder that "once upon a time" happens all the time.
