Lily O'Neil grew up in what she always thought was a loving, middle class family. The youngest of three, she worked hard to become a lawyer and then settled down to raise a family. On the surface, everything seemed perfect, but deep down something was wrong - and always had been.
When dissociated memories of being abused as a child surface in her early thirties, Lily thinks she's gone crazy. Searching for clarity, she confronts her family and is devasted by their response. Struggling to make sense of herself and the people she loves, Lily begins to unravel the life-long impact of her family's betrayal and learn how to courageously heal from it.
Heartbreaking and redemptive, Lily's journey of transformation offers an honest, uplifting, and deeply personal look into healing family trauma.
