After spending two years pinned under the thumb of a cruel circus ringmaster, Julie devises a plan. She escapes with her sister under the cover of darkness. However, it soon becomes evident that things are not what they seem. She is forced to strike a bargain with a vengeful archer who possesses a dark mission of his own. He sees her as a way to carry out his revenge, and she sees him as her last chance to give her sister a better life. Apart, they are flames.
