Outside In is a sweet and whimsical rhyme-filled book that uncovers the magic of nature, all within our own backyards and neighborhoods. Follow along and see what the brother and sister duo see and hear as they go on an adventure of discovery. And remember, being outside and experiencing the sensations of nature can very much change us on the inside.
The main male character has cochlear implants, or his *magic ears*, reminding us of the importance of disability representation in literature. The book does not focus on hearing loss, but rather aims to depict a boy with a visible disability as the key character in a children's tale.
