Chantelle Thorne works with Burgen Thorne as part of an internationally-published illustration team specializing in children's books. In the last three years they have illustrated ten trade books - several of which have won international and national awards. They have a long history in creating art for the educational market and their work has been featured in over 1000 readers and text books worldwide. Kristi Mahoney lives outside of Boston, MA with her husband, two teenagers, and six fur-family members. Kristi loves animals of all kinds, so it's not surprising they're a big part of her writing.
