In his book, Paul: Apostle of the Heart Set Free, F. F. Bruce shares with us the riches that he himself has received through studying Paul. His studies have been compiled for more than half a century during his time as a student and professor of ancient literature. The author confesses that he did not spend as much time with any other author as with Paul. His intention in this book is to speak of the main teachings of the Apostle in their context at the time, just as he himself did in his letters. F. F. Bruce cannot think of any author, ancient or modern, whose study is so wonderfully rewarding.
