Pause and Breathe provides the reader with ten mindfulness scripts that be used in a variety of situations. Mindfulness is an excellent way to give ourselves, our clients, our patients, our families or our students the opportunity to pause and breathe. It is easy to get wrapped up in the moment and not even notice that life is moving very fast. Or we allow things like worry, anxiety, pain, cravings or emotions to put the brakes on. Through mindfulness we can allow ourselves to pause. We can then purposefully make the choice to feel what we want, respond how we want, select what we want or simply enjoy the moment in time.
