Can you live life without the "F" word? No you can't. What's the "F" word? Forgiveness is the "F" word. It is the necessary seasoning to have in your heart that brings a healthy balance and well- being in life. We, as human beings, need to release forgiveness to others and embrace forgiveness from others no matter the offense. Peel the Onion shares the transparent journey of forgiveness and communicates that it is not easy nor microwaveable. The process that took more time desired but Divinely required for right result. What is forgiveness really? Can it be done effectively and how do I know when it has taken place in my heart? Do I get a pass if the offense was just down right deplorable unthinkable? Can forgiveness still happen and the relationship not be restored? Is forgiveness authentic even if the memory is there? Robette Rodgers is a native of Los Angeles, California and has enjoyed journaling and writing poems as a form of relaxation at the end of the day. The author received her BS in Nutrition/Dietetics. She was convinced that she would help others with the physical aspect of their lives nutritionally. Because that was her passion. Little did she know that God had something else for her to do. The author would touch lives on a deeper level through her written testimony of overcoming pain, resentment and unforgiveness. This testimony proclaims, " By God's grace I did it and so can you!" Her other hobbies include trying new recipes, exercising and sewing.
