Author Biography
LIDIA G. MERENCIANO es arqueóloga, antropóloga física y divulgadora. Combina su trabajo académico y de campo con la difusión en redes sociales, sobre todo en Instagram y TikTok, donde acumula más de 300.000 seguidores. A través de estos canales, pretende acercar la ciencia y las humanidades al público general. Siempre ha sido una apasionada de la lectura y la mitología clásica. Penélope, su primera novela, nace gracias al testimonio de Pausanias, un historiador y geógrafo griego, que creía que la tumba de la reina de Ítaca podría hallarse en Mantinea, lejos de su reino. ¿Cómo llegó hasta allí? Este libro responde a esta pregunta y le da, por fin, el relato que merece a una de las grandes heroínas del mundo antiguo.
